Shawn Bhalla, WG'23, Ankit Kohli, WG'23 and Ignacio Hounie, GrE'26
Shawn Bhalla, WG’23 is a Wharton MBA candidate from Rockville, Maryland. He attended The University ofTexas at Austin where he studied electrical engineering. After his time at UT, Shawn worked in the semiconductor industry at Texas Instruments doing product management and product marketing. Shawn went on to work for the government of India in New Delhi at Invest India, where he focused on attracting technology companies into the country to set up their manufacturing and other operations. At Wharton, Shawn is co-president of the Analytics Club, a Student Life Fellow, and a Venture Fellow. Outside of Wharton, Shawn works with his father to grow his family business and enjoys traveling ,snowboarding, playing chess, and hanging out with friends.
Ankit Kohli, WG’23 is a Wharton MBA candidate, with a concentration in Business Analytics. He is co-president of the Wharton Analytics Club. Prior to Wharton, Ankit studied Computer Science at the University of Hong Kong, and has subsequently worked in software engineering and product management roles in financial services, most recently as a Technical PM intern at PayPal. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, reading, and playing badminton.
Ignacio Hounie, GrE’26 is a second-year doctoral candidate at the University of Pennsylvania in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. His research primarily focuses on optimization, signal processing and statistics applied to Machine Learning, and has published several papers in the area. He is always enthusiastic about recent developments in ML and Data Science, and how these tools can help design complex real-world systems. He is originally from Montevideo, Uruguay, where he obtained a BSc. in Electrical Engineering from UdelaR, and then worked as a data engineer at MontevideoLabs.

Michelle Cao, W'23
Michelle is a senior at Wharton studying finance and business analytics and minoring in computer science. She is one of the co-directors of Wharton MUSE (Marketing Undergraduate Student Establishment) Generalist Consulting. She is passionate about the integration and application of analytics, data science, and technology in consulting projects to better understand and solve problems through quantitative evidence. In her free time, Michelle can be found baking, playing badminton, or exploring new restaurants in Philly!

Brian Lee, C'22, GENG'23

Brian Lee is a master’s student in the Bioengineering program and undergraduate in the Biology department at Penn (C’22, GEng ’23). He was a scholar in 2020. He is broadly interested in using computational techniques to make sense of biological/biomedical data; currently, he studies multi-omics and genetic data to better understand biological contributors to Alzheimer’s disease.

Keshav Ramji, W’24 EAS’24 is junior pursuing degrees from both The Wharton School and Penn Engineering. Keshav serves as the vice president of the Wharton Undergraduate Data Analytics Club.

Akshat Talreja, W'23
Akshat is a senior from Singapore studying Business Analytics and Finance at Wharton. He currently serves as the President. Having previously worked in the areas of Natural Language Processing, Fraud Detection, and Recommendation Systems, Akshat is interested in the use of AI to drive automation within businesses. Outside of AI@Penn, Akshat is the events at the Wharton Data Analytics club, Business Director at the International Affairs Association, and an Associate Consultant with the Global Research & Consulting Group. In his free time, Akshat enjoys pool, watching movies, or trying new food.

Joanna Yang, W'24

Joanna Yang, W’24 is studying Statistics and Finance in the Wharton School with a minor in Computer Science, while also pursuing a master’s degree in Data Science. Joanna is the President of Wharton Analytics Fellows and a past participant of the Analytics Accelerator, which is a program that connects undergraduate and graduate students interested in data science to corporations with business problems. Through this collaboration, we provide data science solutions to our corporate clients, including rigorous model building and NLP analysis.
